Personal Saturday entry....

Today has been a very peaceful and relaxing day here at the house. Husband let me sleep in, then we all got ready and went grocery shopping. I couldn't ask for a more perfect start to my day. Plus I did a bit of organization to the laundry room. I'm stock piled on laundry detergent from the coupon hauls that I do at Harris Teeter. I also tried out a new crock pot recipe, turned out pretty delish. Here is the link if you are interested in trying it.

 

 

But eventually toward the start of the evening I felt crappy. My whole body is achy and I feel fatigued. This has been going on for quite some time. My back starts hurting and moves down to my knees. By 8pm I'm laying in bed in tears. It's either I disappear into my room or I get moody. Anyways sorry for the whoa is me banter but it feels good to write down what Is going on in my head. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Please feel free to leave a comment or two, let me know what you cooked over the weekend. Or if you just feel like ranting like I did go ahead lol.

 

 

Rained out Halloween....

Well....we were hoping for a nice night of trick or treating but mother nature had something else in mind. So I fed the girls a quick and easy supper then proceeded to get them into costumes. Both girls were excited and dancing around the room. Kaylan my little lady bug kept her antennas on for maybe part of the trip. So like I was saying we headed off to our favorite spot to get mounds of candy. Got there right when houses were starting to turn porch lights on. Which gave me plenty of time to run down the rules with Meghan. The rules are as followed 1. Stay with me 2. you only take what they give you, don't get stingy 3.I repeat stay with me! 4. stay off the grass.

Finally we got the stroller out and headed off on our merry way. Sadly we made it to our 8th house I felt sprinkles. Im thinking oh crap we have got to turn around now and power walk back to the vehicle which is a good walk back. Yes it was only sprinkling but it was cold and I knew that it was about to be a downpour. Needless to say as we made it back to the Tahoe, the rain was picking up a little more. Meghan was fine but Kaylan was not happy that she was being removed from happy time in the dark to getting stuck back in a car seat. By the time we dodged mindless parents who was just not wanting to move out of the road and out of the neighborhood it was pouring! I think out of both kids, I was the most disappointed. I really wanted a huge hall of candy for my own guilty pleasure lol.

Insight for the blog

As usual I'm curled up in my chair in deep thought. You might say that I'm so deep in thought You can see the wheels turning. I want my blog to speak to parents, give them laughs. We all know there is days when the kids are going full blast and the husbands/boyfriends/etc are being annoying lol.

So I ask you dear readers, what do you want. What makes you come back for more? Is it the humor, the new projects and crafts or maybe just something to find escape from all the madness. What I would like to do, is to have a guest blogger at least once a week or so to post a topic of their interest. To give the blog a little something extra.
